For those of you who are interested in becoming an official there are stroke and turn classes coming up that you can attend online. Go to nwalcertified.org and register for an account. The class is free and it's the only one you need to become a stroke and turn official this season. Once you've taken the course, in order to become a certified official, you will be required to get a background check and serve as a provisional official under a certified team referee for the 1st 3 meets. There is a link to the background check site from the NWAL certified home page. There is a small fee for this but the LDLB team will reimburse you. Please consider taking the course! Let me know if you do take the course so I can let our head ref/team NWAL representative know.
