Meet our coaches!!!
We are so excited to introduce our coaches for the 2023 season!!
Meet Head Coach Kimberly
Kimberly began swimming at a young age, became a lifeguard at a local water park in her teens and in her adult life switched over to coaching. She started her career as a math teacher teaching in Klein ISD and Tomball ISD in 2001. At Tomball ISD she was the Jr High girls Assistant coach for Volleyball and Basketball at Willowwood Jr High. It was there that she was approached by the Goudeket family to teach learn to swim for FINS. That job put a spark for swim coaching in her soul that never left. Kimberly took a few years off to have her 5 children, all which will be swimming for The Bolts! In 2017 the whole family entered into the swim world full force by joining a local summer league. It was there that Kimberly worked on the board and helped with anything and everything needed, from concessions, timing, ready bench and the list goes on. Her involvement at the pool that summer just made that spark of coaching grow and in 2020 Kimberly became the head coach for that same summer league team. Kimberly went on to also coach on the USA swim level as an age group coach as well as taking the head coach position at CHSM, a local Homeschool high school team and newly formed junior high team. Her highschool team of 31 swimmers took 2nd place this past January at the Houston Area Private and parochial school championships. Kimberly is a USA certified swim coach and official, a Red Cross certified lifeguard and a Level 1 ASCA swim coach. When not at the pool Kimberly is busy homeschooling 5 kids, ages 8-15, coordinating VBS as well as leading Family Life Ministries at her church and running a homeschool group of 50+ families for social activities. She and her family are very excited to join the Bolts family this season!
Meet Assistant Coach Will
Will started swimming with the Londonderry Lightning Bolts when he was 10 years old. He currently swims year around for SSAN and has committed to swim D1 at University of Illinois Chicago next year. He cannot wait to start coaching for the team that started it all for him.
Meet Assistant Coach Maddox
Maddox started swimming for the Londonderry Lightning Bolts when he was 4 years old and swam until graduating. He also swam year-round from the time he was 11 and was team captain for his high school team. Maddox was also a junior coach for the Bolts for many seasons and enjoys seeing how much each swimmer improves throughout the season. In his free time, he enjoys spending most of his time rock climbing or hanging out with friends and family. He is looking forward to coaching everyone this season!
