Parents, we would again like to thank all who participated in the fun Friday activity by signing the sponsor posters. What a generous idea! With that being said...

It has come to our attention that there were multiple inappropriate words and phrases written on the posters that we should all be aware of.  While we can all understand ours kids being silly and comical, these posters are going to businesses in our community, who are generously sponsoring our team financially with their brands. Notably, these signs are planned to be displayed publicly and are a direct representation of our team in the community. It is our duty as your Board, yours as a parents, grandparents, guardians and members of the team to supervise your swimmer when doing these type of projects and while they are not in the pool to ensure everything we do represents who are as team and specifically ensure that there is never any hateful speech being written and any type of those are not tolerated as a Londonderry Lightning Bolt swimmer/parent.  

We would appreciate that no further questions be asked to anyone or to any board member.  We are readying the situation and will move forward with better habits and better policies to ensure that we are projecting what it means to be a LDLB.  Thank you for understanding.
