Congratulations to everyone on the domination of the Crocs! Special shout out to our Record Breakers: Sofia Saavedra 13-14 Girls 50 BK, Natalie Henderson 9-10 Girls 25 Fly, and Olivia Hernandez, Kaitlyn Hadley, Sofia Saavedra (save some for the rest of us Sofia), and Emmy Bettenhausen 13-14 Girls Medley Relay! 

Also breaking a record this weekend was Thunder Raines, most sausage on a stick consumed at a single swim meet.

SPRINT SIZZLER QUALIFICATIONS

We currently have 83 swimmers already qualified for Sprint Sizzler Invitational! Great job Bolts! 

Invitational meets are optional meets, held mid and end-of-season that are open to swimmers reaching a certain level of competition. Swimmers must meet qualifying times to participate. Qualifying times vary depending on the invitational. These meets offer a fantastic opportunity for swimmers to compete at a higher level.

Team Updates

• If you are missing any 3rd or 4th place individual ribbons from the meet, they will be available at practice on Thursday.
• At the end of all practices and meets, all families need to make sure that we are cleaning our areas. At Time Trials and our dual meet this past weekend, there was an excessive amount of trash left behind. This is important to remember as it reflects poorly on everyone with the club and requires extra work. Please just be respectful and throw trash away.

Fun Friday

As you know we are hosting our first dual meet of the season this weekend. For our Fun Friday event we will Chalk the Walk! Please do not park in the parking lot or circle drive as we will be decorating the entire parking lot. Appropriate messages only swimmers...looking at you David Swiderski. 

Also, please make sure we are cleaning up after ourselves. There were many popsicle wrappers and trash left last week.

Picture Day and Spirit Night

Save the date - May 19th will be pictures. Individual pictures will begin at 4:30 PM with our Team photo at 5:30. Wear your team shirt. Order forms will be available at the pool.

Lapathon Updates

Lightning Lapathon will take place on Tuesday June 9. This is a team fundraising event where swimmers get pledges from friends and family and see how many laps they can swim. There will be food, drinks, music, raffles, and silent auction. It's a fun family night! If you or your business have items you would like to donate to the raffle or silent auction, please reach out to Emma Kelley or Caitlin Taylor.
