Dear Mother Nature, 

Thunder Raines here. I know it is my last name, but to be perfectly honest, I am getting very sick of seeing the rain every single day. Any chance you can bring the sun back for a bit?

Thank you for your cooperation, as we are all looking forward to a sunny day for the final Dual Meet of the season. 

HELLO LONDONDERRY!!! 

I do hope my letter to Mother Nature gets to her in time. Right now the forecast is showing the rain should hold off in the morning. I will keep Mother Nature on speed dial if anything changes. As of now, we are planning on having the meet as usual. As we've seen all summer, the forecasts can change last minute. Do not blame me, I am just the weatherman. If we need to delay or cancel, we will post in SportsYou. Make sure you have the app downloaded for any updates.

If, for whatever reason, your swimmer is unable to make the meet, please text Coach Jackie ASAP. This makes the scratch process less hectic in the morning and less stress on everyone. 

TEAM SET UP

Due to the rain, team set up will be in the Parking Lot. ALL PARKING WILL NEED TO BE ON THE NORTHSIDE OF LONDON WAY OR ALONG THE GRAVEL PARKING. DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE FIRE STATION, IN FRONT OF DRIVE WAYS, STOP SIGNS, ETC. There will be no parking in the parking lot or circle drive.

TIMELINE

6:50 AM - Tent Parent Arrival
7:00 AM - Swimmer Arrival. 10 & Under check in with tent parents. 11 & up check in with coaches. Swimmers not checked in will be scratched from Relays at this time.

7:15 AM - Warm Ups
7:30 AM - First cup of coffee for Thunder Raines
7:40 AM - Second cup of coffee for Thunder Raines
8:15 AM - Team Meeting
8:30 AM - Meet Start and third cup of coffee for Thunder Raines
2:00 PM - Estimated End Time
2:30 PM - Thunder Raines nap time (most important event of the day...)

Important Team Reminders

Swimmers AND parents please remember to be respectful and show sportsmanlike behavior. Bullying or being aggressive towards anyone, including coaches, volunteers, board members, swimmers, or other parents WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. 

At the end of the meet, we appreciate everyone for helping pick up trash and looking around for anything that needs to be picked up before you leave. 

Let's have an amazing last home meet and bring home the regular season Championship before Divisionals!!!
